About
As a clinical health psychologist, I (she/her) specialize in working with people living with anxiety, stress, and medical concerns, as well as with their loved ones and caregivers. I bring expertise in numerous research-backed treatments for anxiety, stress, depression, and medical conditions. I have focused on health/medical psychology throughout my career, earning my Ph.D. in Health Psychology at The Ohio State University, and completing my internship and post-doctoral fellowship in Behavioral Medicine at the Palo Alto Veterans Administration Medical Center. I worked for many years at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Cancer Center in the Psycho-Oncology program, and prior to that as a psychologist in primary care Behavioral Medicine at Kaiser Permanente. I have authored articles and presentations in the psycho-oncology field.
When I am not working, you can often find me exploring the mountains, beaches, and lakes of the beautiful (if sometimes cold) New England region. I spent many years living and working in the (also beautiful) San Francisco Bay area.
